ASUS Aura is the software that allows users to control RGB lighting on Asus RGB products including motherboards, graphics cards, monitors, and other peripherals. This software allows the LED lighting to be customized to the user’s preferences, providing a more personalized experience. Although it is robust and powerful software, it can sometimes have some problems that we will cover today. In this final part of the series, we look at the problem with ASUS’ aura.
Restart the computer before performing any of the recommended troubleshooting actions below. This action refreshes the operating system and removes the corrupted temporary data that could be causing the problem.
Several factors can cause this particular problem, from a corrupt installation file to conflicts with other lighting software. Here are the steps to follow to solve this problem.
Try to disable quick start
Quick Start is a feature that allows Windows 10 to start up much faster from a powered down state. When the computer shuts down, the computer’s original configuration is saved so that this information can be quickly retrieved at startup, saving time. This can sometimes cause problems with your computer, so you should try to disable it.
- Press Windows + R and type Control Panel in the box and press Enter.
- In the Control Panel, select the Large icons and click Power Options.
- In the Power Options area, click Select the function of the network buttons, which is located on the left side of the screen.

Check RGB cable connection.
The RGB device may not be properly connected to the LED header on the motherboard. When this happens, the device does not turn on, which may give the impression that the software is not working. It is best to make sure the LED connections are properly installed.
Remove other lighting software
If you have other RGB lighting control software installed on your computer on other devices, you should try uninstalling it as it may be causing the problem. After removing the other lighting software, try to see if the ASUS Aura glitch persists.
