The Logitech Unifying Receiver is a small wireless USB receiver that lets you connect up to 6 compatible devices to your computer. This eliminates the problems associated with using 6 different USB receivers on the same computer. Although it can be used immediately after connecting to a computer, problems sometimes occur. Installation of unification software

Logitech has special software that allows users to easily configure devices that are compatible with the backplane receiver. Try installing it on your computer first.

  • Go to https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025297913-Logitech-Unifying-Software
  • Download the program for Windows and install it on your computer.
  • After installing the application, restart the computer. After the restart, right-click on the application and select Run as Administrator.

See if the problem persists with an unrecognized Logitech Unifying receiver.

Logitechreceiver driver update

It is possible that the problem is caused by a problem with the receiver driver, so you should try to update it.

  • Right-click on Start , and then click on Device Manager.
  • Place mouse and other devices.
  • Right-click on Logitech HID Uniform Mouse compatible with , and then click on Update Driver.

Remove the MotionInJoy GamePadtool

If you have the MotionJoy GamePad utility installed on your computer, you must uninstall it because it may conflict with the Logitech Unified Receiver.

  • Press Start , then Settings
  • In the settings, go to Applications.
  • Search for MotionInJoy GamePad Tool.
  • Right click and remove .
  • Restart the computer .
