If you are reading this I hope you would have successfully configured your domain, hosting and WordPress Theme and Now Installing WordPress Plugin.
Well, WordPress is a Great Content Management System (CMS), and there are a few technical things to know before you dig deep into WordPress.
Installing WordPress Plugins is one thing that every WordPress Blogger should be familiar with.
The 3 different ways to Install WordPress Plugins are:
- Search for Plugin and Install
- Upload and Install (From 3rd Party)
Let’s Start with one by one:
Search and Install Plugin from WordPress Plugins Dashboard
The easiest way to Install a WordPress Plugin is to find the plugin from Dashboard and Installing it right away.
If you know the name of the plugin, You can directly search for that plugin by typing it in the search bar of the Plugins Dashboard.
After Installation Activate the plugin, Configure your plugin if needed.
Upload and Install
If you have downloaded the plugin from Official developer’s site or Plugin Sites (Third party sites), just click on Upload Plugin which is on the top left corner and upload the downloaded zip.
Quick Knowledge: Plugins Should be Uploaded as Zip File, They should not be extracted.
FTP Method to Install WordPress Plugins
If you are familiar with FTP and all it’s fine but don’t play with Control panel.
Your hosting provider gives you login Credentials of your control panel where you can find your file manager and FTP related things.
Where you can create multiple FTP Accounts, Configure them and upload whatever you want very easily.
Sometimes due to Plugin Conflict with theme or something might happen and you cannot login to your WordPress site to access your Dashboard.
That can be due to Multiple reasons like
Plugin Installation Failed due to Interrupted Internet Connection
Of all, I would recommend Installing via WordPress Plugins Dashboard or via Uploading the Plugin.Zip File.
Sometimes you may might face issues with your WordPress site after installing a certain plugin. Log into your Cpanel and go to FileManager and in that go to WP-Plugins folder and remove the folder of that plugin. Few plugins are not compatible with certain versions of WordPress and will cause problems.
Yes, They are absolutely Free Premium WordPress Plugins, Donate them if you like their Work.
Don’t Download Plugins from Any Other Sites, As they are Nulled Plugins, Nulled means their source can either be hampered or some malicious code might be stuffed or their Adsense code might be inserted anything can happen, So If you want a Premium Plugin for free, You can download it from GPLDL.
If you want to appreciate the plugin developer, Please buy the official plugin.
