MS Paint or Microsoft Paint is a graphics program that comes with every version of Windows and allows you to open and edit various graphics files. Although it is an excellent graphics editing program, there seems to be no way to make MS Paint’s background transparent. In this final article in our series on troubleshooting, we’ll show you how.
- Open the image in Microsoft Paint.
- Select Color 2 on the toolbar. Here you have to select the background color of your image as color 2.
- Click on the tool Dropper in the toolbar.
- Click on the background image . Adjusts the selection of color 2 to match the background of the image.
- Press menu Select from the toolbar. This option is located in the top left corner. A drop-down menu appears.
- Click Transparent Selection in the menu . This will enable the transparent selection option in all selected areas and check the corresponding box in the menu.
- Selection Rectangular selection or free selection
- Select the image you want to separate from the background. Hold down the left mouse button and trace the image.
- Right-click in the selection area.
- Select Cut or Copy from the right-click menu. Your transparent selection is then copied to the clipboard.
- Open a new image in Paint.
- Paste the copied image. Right click on the new image and select Paste.
